Economic and Social Development
Socio-Economic development is the process of social and economic development in a society. Socio-Economic development is measured with indicators, such as GDP, life expectancy, literacy and levels of employment. Changes in less-tangible factors are also considered, such as personal dignity, freedom of association, personal safety and freedom from fear of physical harm, and the extent of participation in civil society. In order to improve the Social and Economic conditions of the general public, we focus on various activities in the field of Education, Human Rights, Minority Rights, Law Science and Technology.
Gender Issues & Advancement of Women
Gender equality, is the belief that everyone should receive equal treatment and not be discriminated against based on their gender. It seek to create equality in law and in social situations, such as in suffrage, democratic activities and economic activity, such as securing equal pay for equal work. The objective of gender equality is for people of different genders to acquire, if they so choose, equal treatment throughout a society, not just in politics, the workplace, or any other policy-designated sphere. In this regard, we focus on various Advocacy and Outreach programs to create awareness and to initiate public debate on various Gender Issues and Women Empowerment. Further, we do conduct specific research works in the related issues.
Article 39 A of the Constitution of India provides for free legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of the society and ensures justice for all. Legal aid is the provision of assistance to people otherwise unable to afford legal representation and access to the court system. Sustainable development is the organising principle for meeting human development goals while at the same time sustaining the ability of natural systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services upon which the economy and society depends. The desirable end result is a state of society where living conditions and resource use continue to meet human needs without undermining the integrity and stability of the natural systems. In order to achieve this goal, we contribute through Capacity Building, Healthcare, Institutional Arrangements, Partnerships, Waste Management, Sanitation etc.
